We are recruiting for an exciting Operations Manager opportunity with our award‑winning family attraction client in the South West. This permanent role offers £38,000 to £42,000 and the chance to lead operations across a diverse range of visitor experiences. You’ll be the driving force behind delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing budgets, leading teams, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership to operations teams across all park areas including attractions, facilities, catering and guest services
* Manage day‑to‑day operations ensuring smooth running of all visitor experiences and maintaining exceptional cleanliness and safety standards
* Maintain a culture with high standards and a passion for providing an excellent experience for all visitors
* Support HR functions including recruitment, training and performance management of operational staff
* Develop and manage annual operations budgets while identifying future opportunities with strong ROI
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, conduct risk assessments and implement emergency response procedures
* Act as the communication hub between management, teams and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
* Proven operations management experience, ideally within entertainment, hospitality or hospitality environments
* Exceptional leadership skills with ability to lead by example and have difficult conversations when required
* Strong organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail for both administrative tasks and operational standards
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to manage teams, senior management and external partners effectively
* Budget management experience with focus on maximising opportunities while controlling costs
* Flexibility to work across 7‑day operation including weekends
Location & Working Hours
Based on‑site with 5 days working pattern alternating between 8am‑5pm and 9am‑6pm shifts (40 hours per week) across Sunday to Thursday and Tuesday to Saturday rotation.
