Location: Glasgow Prestwick International Airport
Duties Include:
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment
* Control and movement of waste from designated areas IAW procedures and local regulation
* Maintaining general hangar, workshop, and associated area cleanliness
* Maintaining waste management areas inside and outside of hangar, including reporting requirements of uplift of full compactors/skips etc.
* Weekly checks of Scissor lifts and Cherry pickers including battery conditions, fluid levels etc.
* Daily checks of aircraft tugs, diesel powered GPU’s for condition of oil, fuel, tyres, other fluids and replenishing where required.
* Minor hangar maintenance and repair work of hangar and PAM facilities within capabilities of individual
* Ensuring that the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to, that all company regulations, discipline, and safe working practices are followed.
* Carrying out any other tasks as reasonably required by the Zone Supervisor
* Transporting staff/contractors to local airports

Requirements
* Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
* Full Clean Driving license
* Forklift truck license (desirable)- inhouse training supplied
* Able to work with minimal supervision
* Capable of working in a variety of roles
