A busy engineering site in Burnley is seeking an experienced Storeperson to support day-to-day operations. The role involves managing materials, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring the smooth running of the site stores.Your new role
Materials Handling & Equipment Operation
* Operate a Telehandler safely to move materials around site
* Load and unload deliveries using the Telehandler (and forklift if licensed)
* Transport materials to required work areas ensuring safe handling
Stock & Inventory Management
* Receive, check, and record incoming goods and deliveries
* Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory systems
* Store materials in designated areas and ensure stock is organised
* Prepare and issue materials to site teams when required
Site Logistics & Organisation
* Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the stores area
* Ensure walkways and storage bays are kept clear and compliant
* Assist with general site logistics, including coordinating deliveries
* Conduct routine inspections of tools, plant, and equipment in stores
Health, Safety & Compliance
