Secondary schools across Daventry are seeking enthusiastic Sport Graduates to join their PE teams as support staff immediately. For the right candidates, there is genuine potential to progress into teacher training, either through in-school routes such as School Direct or via university-led programmes.

The Role
1. Support the delivery of PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 under the guidance of qualified PE teachers
2. Lead warm-ups, set up equipment, and help supervise groups during lessons
3. Run lunchtime or after-school sports clubs, encouraging participation across all abilities
4. Promote positive attitudes towards health, fitness, and teamwork
5. Assist with organising and delivering fixtures, inter-school competitions, and enrichment events
Ideal Candidate Profile
6. Degree in Sport, Sport Science, Physical Education or a related subject
7. Passionate about inspiring young people through sport
8. Confident, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
9. Strong communication and organisational skills
10. Experience working with young people or coaching (desirable but not essential)
11. Flexible and open to working across different sporting environments
