Do you have the expertise in Organisational Development to support a large-scale transformation programme within a dynamic department? As the People Improvement Adviser, you will collaborate with the Theatre Productivity Improvement Programme Lead to enhance theatre productivity and efficiency, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety by aligning strategy, structure, people, and culture.
Our goal is to transform theatre services and improve overall effectiveness by focusing on human resources, organizational dynamics, behavioral, and cultural factors to boost quality and performance. We seek someone who understands that people are central to our success and who is passionate about making a meaningful impact. Please note this is a fixed-term position for 2 years.
What You'll Do
1. Support a large-scale transformation programme through our people to improve theatre productivity and efficiency.
2. Apply a variety of OD tools and techniques to identify improvements in department functionality, focusing on people, processes, structure, and culture to foster a more effective, efficient, and engaged workplace.
3. Engage and empower staff, promoting a culture of compassionate and inclusive leadership.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals.
What We’re Looking For
* Relevant HR & OD experience within the NHS or a similar environment.
* Experience supporting HR aspects of large change programmes within sizable teams.
* Proven ability to provide professional advice and coaching to leaders on employee relations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to NHS values and principles.
