Role Purpose:
Are you ready to take the lead in creating unforgettable experiences? As an Event Planner within our dynamic catering planning team, you will be the mastermind behind a variety of events, from conferences to exhibitions and elegant dinners. Your mission? To collaborate closely with clients and the Levy team, ensuring exceptional service from the initial planning stages all the way to the successful delivery of each event.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding and enhancing Levy's reputation by consistently delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Consultation & Event Planning:
o Engage with corporate clients to understand their event goals, audience, and catering needs.
o Provide expert guidance on menus, service styles, and venue logistics.
o Develop comprehensive event proposals, including food and beverage options, staffing, and setup details.
* Menu Planning & Coordination:
o Curate menus tailored to corporate events, accommodating dietary needs.
o Ensure food presentation aligns with the event theme and corporate branding.
o Coordinate food tastings with clients and chefs to finalize selections.
* Logistics & Vendor Coordination:
o Collaborate with the venue to ensure proper kitchen facilities and guest flow.
o Coordinate with third-party vendors for rentals and logistics.
o Plan and oversee logistics for large-scale events, ensuring strategic placement of food stations.
* Budget Management & Contract Negotiation:
o Provide transparent cost estimates and ensure events stay within budget.
o Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimize costs without compromising quality.
o Manage contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.
* On-Site Event Execution & Supervision:
o Engage with the Operational Delivery team to oversee food service execution.
o Quickly address any last-minute client requests or service issues.
* Client Relations & Customer Service:
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after events.
o Ensure a seamless client experience through proactive problem-solving.
o Gather post-event feedback to enhance future services.
* Compliance & Health & Safety:
o Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
o Implement corporate health and safety protocols for large-scale events.
o Secure necessary permits for catering at various events.
* Business Development & Marketing:
o Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and event agencies.
o Promote catering services through networking and social media.
o Stay updated on industry trends to enhance our offerings.
Person Specification:
We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering excellent visitor experiences and embodies our core values of teamwork and collaboration.
* You should be a role model, setting an example for our team and the wider business.
* A passion for the events industry, effective communication skills, and at least 2 years of event planning experience are essential.
* We value self-confidence, approachability, and excellent organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and a professional telephone manner are required.
* Experience in compliance, customer feedback, and complaint handling will be beneficial.
