Post: Weighbridge Administrator
Location: Flusco, Newbiggin, Penrith, CA11 0JB
Salary: £13.21 per hour plus enhancements for weekend working
Hours: 45 hours
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 7:45am to 17:15pm
Five days per week, with a half hour unpaid lunch break and alternate weekend working on a rota basis. Saturday/Sunday - 7:45am to 12:45pm.
Purpose of the role:
To deliver to a high standard, an effective operational and administrative support on the weighbridge, which supports the needs of the business. To be the first point of contact for any visitors, contractors, drivers, colleagues etc, when they arrive at site, creating a great first impression.
Main role responsibilities
* Operate the weighbridge, weighing vehicles in and out of the site, ensuring compliance with in accordance with PPC/licence conditions, Health & Safety legislation, relevant contractual obligations and Regulations
* Comply with relevant contractual obligations, for example: vehicle acceptance lists; turnaround times and WAC & WAP procedures
* Assist the Operations Manager in the collection and analysis of data, compiling regular (weekly/ monthly) reports from the weighbridge data
* Accurately record and input data into relevant IT systems, ensuring compliance with any relevant legislation
* Maintain weekly records showing incoming and outgoing loads from the MRF (Materials Recycling Facility)
* Respond and deal with customer queries (face-to-face, email, telephone etc) in a manner that creates a great customer experience
Qualifications / Experience
Essential:
* Experience in an administration-type role
* Experience in a customer-service environment
* Good proficiency in key Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience producing data analysis / reports
Desirable:
* Customer Service or Business Administration qualification
* Knowledge of the Waste Management industry
