The Department of Chemistry is looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic new Receptionist. This is a key role in the Department as you will be the first point of contact for staff, students and visitors in a very large, busy reception office, covering a varied and vast number of duties. This includes providing postal, courier, administrative service and assist with the Mifare security system as required.
The successful applicant will have GCSE's in English and Mathematics, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent level of practical experience, and will be computer literate. You must be able to communicate clearly with others, plus being able to use your own initiative, keep calm under pressure, multi-task and prioritise. You must have self-confidence and have the ability to deal with a wide range of people at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
* This is a part-time role working Monday-Friday, 8am to 1pm.
