Responsibilities
* Develop detailed 2D and 3D design drawings, fabrication specifications, and bills of materials for high‑security structures.
* Interpret complex project requirements and security standards to deliver compliant, practical, and buildable engineering solutions.
* Support tender submissions by providing technical drawings, design concepts, and expert engineering input.
* Collaborate with production teams to optimise designs for efficient manufacturing, seamless installation, and long‑term performance.
* Conduct site surveys to assess feasibility and identify any design constraints.
* Ensure all designs adhere to rigorous standards while meeting client‑specific security needs.
Qualifications
* A degree or HND in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
* Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
* A strong understanding of structural principles and steelwork design.
* Experience in producing detailed design drawings and fabrication specifications.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a solutions‑focused and practical approach to overcoming challenges.
