Customer Service Team Leader
Our dynamic distribution company based in Newark is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Team Leader to manage their small, fast-paced customer service team. Responsibilities include:
1. Leading the day-to-day operations of the department.
2. Developing processes for managing orders, arranging transport, and providing customer support.
3. Building effective relationships with departments such as purchasing, warehouse, and finance.
4. Resolving escalated customer issues and complaints.
5. Updating and maintaining product and pricing records on the CRM system.
6. Training, developing, and guiding team members.
7. Creating weekly and monthly departmental reports.
Ideal candidates will have strong leadership qualities, previous team management experience, and a good understanding of customer order processes. Comfort with complaint management, excellent organizational skills, and strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Intermediate IT skills, including Word, Excel, and CRM, are required.
