Distribution Coordinator Role at Breedon
As a Distribution Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our customer interactions, handling inbound enquiries and providing essential admin support to the Distribution, external sales, and Transport teams. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service.

The Coordinator will support the Shipping and Weighbridge teams during the A47 project.
This role is being advertised as a fixed-term contract until July 2027.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing operational support to Shipping and Weighbridge staff.
2. Liaising with our material supplier, Stema, to manage deliveries.
3. Starting early with the Asphalt team to ensure phone lines are covered and support is provided to customers.
4. Serving as a link between BSS, Galliford Try, and GB Materials.
5. Balancing existing customer demands with the A47 project requirements.
6. Working with the transport team to ensure adequate trucks and drivers.
7. Dealing with haulier queries.
8. Managing sales enquiries.
9. Ensuring timely answering of phones and recording enquiries.
10. Handling telephone and email orders from customers.
11. Managing EPOD paper tickets, including daily checks and chasing plants for sending tickets.
12. Processing unallocated EPOD tickets daily.
13. Processing OOH and day rate payments for tippers as needed.
14. Raising daily asphalt charges for returned/dumped loads, cross-referencing with planning.
15. Raising and paying hauliers from the asphalt report.
16. Checking docket logs daily for inaccuracies.
17. Recording refused and cancelled RMX orders on Excalibur.
