We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Podiatrist to join our Outpatients team as part of our bank. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. You will play a key role in promoting foot health, preventing complications (including those related to long-term conditions such as diabetes), and improving patient mobility and quality of life. Main duties of the job
* Manage a defined caseload of patients with podiatric needs
* Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate appropriate treatment plans
* Deliver evidence-based interventions for a range of conditions including dermatological, musculoskeletal, and high-risk foot complications
* Identify and manage patients at risk, including those with diabetes
* Provide foot health education to patients, carers, and groups
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
* Support clinical supervision, training, and reflective practice
Essential
* Degree in Podiatry (BSc or equivalent)
* Current registration with Health and Care Professions Council
Desirable
* Membership of Royal College of Podiatry
* Postgraduate training in specialist areas (e.g., biomechanics, diabetes care, nail surgery)
