Job Description
Role Purpose
The Emergency Response & Crisis Management Lead Associate will strengthen Ocean Winds’ ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from major incidents and emergencies. This role leads the design, implementation, and governance of emergency response (ER) and crisis management (CM) systems, ensuring readiness across global operations and alignment with regulatory, industry and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Emergency Response Planning: Lead the development and implementation of Ocean Winds’ global ER framework, plans, and procedures.
2. Ensure alignment across sites and regions with relevant regulations, standards, and best industry practices.
3. Conduct periodic risk assessments and scenario analyses to test resilience and adapt plans.
4. Crisis Management Readiness: Establish and maintain a global crisis management framework and escalation protocols.
5. Support crisis management teams at corporate and regional levels, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
6. Lead crisis communication protocols in coordination with H&S leadership and Corporate Communications.
7. Training & Exercises: Develop and deliver ER/CM training (tabletop and simulation exercises) for leadership and operational teams.
