Graduate Civil or Structural Engineer Renewable Energy - Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness - start date August 26 onwards
We are seeking graduates for our Renewable Energy Civil/Structural team in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness to join from August 26 onwards.

Projects and Responsibilities You will be deployed to work on a range of projects providing civil/structural support for technologies such as:
* On and offshore wind
* Solar PV
* Hydroelectric – run of river and pumped storage
* Grid connection works – cable routes and substations civil
* Hydrogen production and storage
* Battery energy storage systems (BESS)
Projects cover all stages from feasibility to detailed design and site construction supervision in the UK and internationally. Clients range from large energy utilities to private developers.
What You’ll Do
* Support the delivery of consultancy services on renewable energy engineering projects
* Contribute to feasibility level studies with the wider AECOM teams
* Prepare technical reports and detailed design information
* Assist in securing work with renewable energy developers and their supply chain
Qualifications
* BEng Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
* MSc/MEng would be an advantage
* 2:1 degree classification or above
* Commitment to continued education and improvement through approved training schemes
* Demonstrable interest in a career in renewable energy
* Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members
* Enthusiastic, hardworking, with ambition and drive
* Ability to structure and prioritise work and work well in a team or independently
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in renewable energy or related field (developer, equipment manufacturer, or consultant)
* Familiarity with CAD and ArcGIS
* Driving licence; some site travel may be required
* Student member of a professional institution
* Working ability in a second language or relevant international experience
