We are a family run business rated GOOD by Ofsted. We are looking for an outstanding Play Worker with a wealth of experience working with children 3-11 years to come on board and share this exciting journey. You will be proactive in promoting the before and after school club and holiday play-scheme. You will conduct our daily school run to the local primary school.
You must have a warm smiley face that makes every child feel special and loved. Bring laughter and your quirky personality remembering that children's humour can be a confusing minefield to navigate. If a child requests you to be a tooth fairy then you will hunt out the nearest tutu and wand and sprinkle the magic of make believe. You don't have to be able to sing in tune but out of tune is a must, especially in front of a crowd. You must be able to distribute warm hugs when required. You must be able to value the importance of a child's findings whether it be a fairy, pebble or a snail. Bring fun fun and more fun leave your inhibitions at home Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to so many children and their families.
Term Time Shifts:
Monday - Friday
7am - 9:30am 3pm - 6pm
Holiday club shifts:
10 hour days (3/4 days)
There is scope to top up the term time hours in our nursery if the candidate requires more hours from 27.5 to 38.5.
Essential Childcare Practitioner qualities:
* Ability to plan fun and exciting activities using the children's interests
* Professional attitude and work ethic
* A DBS check is essential to enable candidates to progress
* Passion for working with children and a willingness to learn

* Inspirational Lead
Desirable Childcare Practitioner qualities:
* A good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* DBS checked and on the Update service
* First Aid, Safeguarding, Prevent, FGM
