Project Manager - 12 month FTC

Opportunity
The objectives of this role is to manage a portfolio of projects within the NCC group globally. The assigned projects will be medium to large in nature, span the full technology stack of NCC, and support all business functions.
They will need to lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, establish and manage a project plan, manage project budgets and report anomalies on a regular basis, and work collaboratively with the business in terms of delivery including change management.
Where necessary they will coordinate internal and external resources, negotiate with and manage vendors, and ensure projects remain within scope and budget, including managing the change control process.
The role will involve project analysis and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines and costs to ensure the projects adhere to the defined requirements. It is essential they establish and maintain relationships with the appropriate stakeholders and provide day‑to‑day contact on project status and changes.
Responsibilities
* Determine and define project scope and objectives working with a broad cross‑section of stakeholders from across the NCC Group.
* Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
* Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
* Track project costs to meet budget and report on any unexpected deviation from the project burn rate.
* Develop and manage a detailed project plan, while providing a summarised version to senior stakeholders.
* Provide project updates weekly to the PMO and key stakeholders, highlighting risks and issues with mitigation plans.
* Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
* Utilise industry best practices, techniques and standards throughout project execution.
* Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
* Measure project performance to identify improvement areas.
* Provide quality assurance measures on all project work.
* Track project performance and provide evaluations.
* Adhere to NCC Group's project governance methodology.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience as a Project Manager, ideally in Cyber Security or Technology.
* Excellent understanding of project management tools and techniques.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
* Familiarity with other tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Trello.
* Strong grasp of the full project lifecycle and methodologies.
* Experience within a structured project management framework.
* Experience with both Agile and waterfall techniques.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
* Experience managing budgets and resource tracking.
* Creative thinking to devise pragmatic solutions.
* Experience engaging stakeholders up to and including C‑Suite.
* Advantageous if you have supported Workday or Salesforce implementations (not essential).
