You will set the direction for commercial strategy, ensuring decision‑making is evidence‑based, aligned to organisational priorities and underpinned by strong governance. Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for the strategic and operational direction of all commercial functions, including business development, referrals and conversion, contracts, tenders and customer management.
• Lead the full commercial lifecycle, ensuring sustainable occupancy, income growth and strong, trusted relationships with commissioners.
• Act as a senior commercial adviser, providing insight on market conditions, income risks and growth opportunities.
• Set the direction for commercial strategy, ensuring decision‑making is evidence‑based, aligned to organisational priorities and underpinned by strong governance.
• Your key responsibilities will involve directing the strategic and operational facets of commercial functions such as business development, referrals, contracts, and tenders.
• Oversee the commercial lifecycle, ensuring strong relationships with commissioners and growth across critical service lines including Mental Health and Neuro services.
• The position requires close collaboration with top executives to provide market insights and risk assessments, aiming for a cohesive commercial strategy aligned with organisational priorities.
• This role also demands robust processes for improving performance and handling complex negotiations while ensuring high‑quality contractual management and income assurance.
