An exciting opportunity has arisen within the West Caithness Health and Social Care Team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain their independence. The post holder needs to be flexible and able to use their own initiative. The post-holder will provide high standards of patient care in support of the team to ensure delivery of a high-quality service to the local community.
Experience is not required, although it is of benefit. Full training will be provided, and successful applicants will have the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health and Social Care.
A driving licence is essential for this post, and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes. A pool vehicle is available for rural areas.
This is a Fixed Term 20.72 hours per week post to 30 October 2026, working on an 8:30am - 14:30pm, 4 days on, 4 days off rota or as per service requirements.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
