About the position
Reporting to the Head of Segment, Fish & Seafood, joining us as the Marketing Manager in this pivotal role you’ll be responsible for supporting and leading a key area of growth and innovation in Nomad Foods’ strategic 3 year plan. Working with Head of Segment, you’ll be building a commercial viable Innovation and Renovation pipeline and leading the flywheel process ensuring the markets are able to win across our Must Win Battles, as well as other key priorities in the segment.
This role will be working cross functionally with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Factories, Insights and Comms as an example. This role requires someone who is passionate about keeping stakeholders engaged, building relationships across the organisation and being able to present up to C-Suite level.
Key responsibilities will include:
Understand the category vision and how its key drivers are the basis for segment growth and brand growth – build clear sell in for innovation and renovation in line with this to support market execution.
Be able to develop compelling innovation concepts, that are co-created with consumers to uncover true insights and identify clear benefits and reasons to believe, taking advantage also of disruptive techniques and stimulus to trigger unexpected ideas using influence from outside the traditional references
Be able to assess performance as part of flywheel process to inform strategy for segment.
Be able to lead flywheel workshops
Build clear toolkits for execution to inspire MUs and support innovation implementation ensuring there is a continuous loop of learn & optimise
About You
You’re an experienced, commercially minded marketeer with a passion for food, our brands and consumers. You’ve a proven ability to manage a growing portfolio, with the resilience and adaptability to deliver in market will be key. You will also have the following -
Previous experience within a commercial FMCG organisation and proven track record of achievement in a past faced environment
You’ve successfully led product innovation development and renovation
You’re able to demonstrate strong people influence skills, communication skills and collaboration to work in cross functional teams – as you’ve experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders
Demonstrable experience working a matrixed organisation and ideally you would have had experience working globally
