THE EMPLOYER IS: TCC NI LTDWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This entry level role is designed for individuals who are eager to build a career in accounting and bookkeeping. The successful candidate will receive training and support while assisting with day-to-day financial operations.
Responsibilities
* Perform bank reconciliations using accounting software.
* Communicate with clients, including requesting and gathering necessary information.
* Prepare Excel workings, including basic self-assessments for review and finalisation by the accountant.
* Assist with payroll processing.
* Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
* Provide administrative support to the finance team.
* Support the preparation and processing of invoices and payments.
Skills and Qualifications
* Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Basic knowledge of accounting software (training provided).

* Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, BrightPay, or TaxCalc.
* Confident telephone manner and experience handling calls.
