PM Group is implementing a new growth strategy and now seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to lead expansion in the data centre sector. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, and positioning PM Group as a trusted partner in the rapidly evolving data centre industry.
The role can be based out of any of the PM Group offices in Ireland, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Poland or the Netherlands.

Responsibilities
1. Business Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the data centre sector.
2. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies to increase revenue and market share.
3. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and project teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
5. Commercial Support: Lead bid preparation, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.
6. Presentations & Proposals: Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
7. Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
8. Brand Representation: Represent PM Group at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote our value proposition.
Qualifications
9. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
10. Experience: Proven track record in business development within the data centre, engineering consultancy, or construction sectors.
11. Network: Proven network in the European DC Sector
12. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of data centre design, construction, and operational requirements.
13. Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
14. Performance: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
15. Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
16. Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required.
