Job Title: MRP Controller
The MRP Controller will be responsible for managing manufacturing schedules, logistics activities, and ensuring customer programs are met promptly. The role typically reports to a senior member of the Manufacturing Planning & Control team.
Role responsibilities
1. Manage and coordinate planning activities to deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
2. Coordinate procurement of materials to ensure supply aligns with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
3. Release, manage, and schedule work in the MRP system; maintain and communicate delivery forecasts.
4. Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure MRP system accuracy through regular stock checks.
5. Collaborate with the Supply Planner to address plan changes and resolve supply chain constraints.
6. Identify supply risks and escalate issues as needed.
7. Work with Logistics to manage inventory, resolve queries, and ensure proper documentation.
8. Support non-conformance management processes.
9. Maintain accurate manufacturing bills of materials and strategies.
10. Contribute to achieving schedule adherence, inventory, and delivery KPIs.
Skillset/experience Required
1. Experience in manufacturing planning or supply chain management.
2. APICS supply chain certification is a plus.
3. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
4. Strong planning, organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Attention to detail.
