Early Years Teaching Assistant
Milk Education are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Killingworth who are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development and supporting young learners at a crucial stage in their education.
Early Years Teaching Assistant Role:
1. Supporting children within Nursery and Early Years Foundation Stage
2. Assisting with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
3. Providing 1-1 and small group support where required
4. Supporting children’s social, emotional and developmental needs
5. Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. An EYFS qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)
7. Essential experience working with Nursery or primary-aged children
8. A nurturing, patient and engaging approach
9. A strong understanding of child development and early learning
10. The ability to work well as part of a team
11. A genuine passion for supporting young children
