About the role & team We are looking for a Senior Analytics Executive to join our MFG EMEA team. Reporting into an Analytics Associate Director, you will be given the opportunity to work on one of the world's leading tech brands (Google) and use your skillset to generate meaningful insights, through the application of statistical methods.Working in a dynamic and fast-moving industry you will gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in digital marketing, technology and applied analytics. You will work closely with experienced analysts and marketers to build the skills you will need to drive our client brands forward.We have invested in giving you the tools to make you as successful as possible, including training/development, full access to Google Cloud Platform and a wider global community of analysts and data scientists. Some of the things we'd like you to do
1. You will be responsible for implementing media campaign measurement including Conversion Lift Studies & Matched Market Testing
2. You will deliver actionable insights that inform Google’s future ad campaigns and advise on how to improve their effectiveness
3. Collaborate proactively with the wider client team and other teams within Essence Mediacom, to implement measurement & analytics at a high standard
4. Play an important part in collating and reporting incrementality testing results to quantify the efficacy of Google’s media campaigns
5. Evaluate the statistical robustness of measurement solutions and iterate on them as needed to optimize performance
A bit about yourself. You will likely:
6. Hold a degree(s) in a quantitative field: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Physical Science or Computer Science
7. Have proven professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
8. Have well developed problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
9. Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders
10. Be able to follow guidance as part of a cross-functional team
11. Be proficient in presenting data in a visually engaging and insightful manner
Nice to haves:
12. Familiarity with SQL & Python, including use of packages such as pandas, numpy, scipy & matplotlib
13. Knowledge of market research methodologies
14. Experience with cloud technologies, such as BigQuery, GCP & AWS
15. Experience working with predictive models and data sources via APIs
16. Speaking any European languages
