Behaviour Support Assistant – Primary Schools (Bradford)

Contract: Flexible / Ad hoc
Pay: £90–£115 per day (PAYE)

We’re looking for experienced and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistants to work flexibly across a range of primary schools in Bradford. This is an ad hoc role, perfect if you’re looking for variety, balance, and the chance to make a real impact where it’s needed most.
You’ll be working 1:1 or in small groups, supporting pupils who need a bit of extra encouragement to manage emotions and stay on track. Every day’s different, but your goal stays the same: to help pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional needs in KS1–KS2
* Building positive, trusting relationships to help pupils thrive
* Working closely with teachers and SEND teams to create supportive strategies
* Bringing patience, empathy, and a sense of humour to every day
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in behaviour support, mentoring, youth work, or SEND
* A calm, positive attitude and great communication skills
* Flexibility to work across different schools in the Bradford area
* A genuine passion for helping young people succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
