What You’ll be Doing
* Running a caseload of debt recovery matters
* Managing claims via a debt claims portal
* Dealing with small claims defences after LBAs have been issued
* Preparing witness statements and bundles
* Taking calls and instructions from clients
* Assisting senior solicitors
* Using cutting‑edge legal technology
The role is full‑time, permanent, working 9:00 am to 5:15 pm Monday to Friday. It is fully office‑based, with hybrid working available once the candidate is fully qualified.
Who We’re Looking For
* Previous debt recovery experience in small claims defence matters
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using legal case management systems
* Degree level education
* LPC/LLM or equivalent (desirable)
* A desire to qualify as a solicitor in the longer term and specialise in litigation work
