As Head of Service, you will take overall responsibilityfor Service Business within the South Branch, including financial performance,customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, employee engagement and development.You will be a member of the management team, and will have a team of AreaService Managers and Small Works Project Managers.
You will need to be based in the South of UK and will be required to travel to visit customers regularly and also travel to our Farnborough site.
We deliver integrated control and building technology solutions acrossvaried and complex customer facilities and buildings. Typical projects includethe design and build of new construction site installations, refurbishments andasset refresh solutions. Technologies will include complex integrated Securitysystems (CCTV, Perimeter protection, access control intruder protection) Firedetection systems, building management systems, associated cabling equipmentand integration with others.
You’ll make a differenceby:
•Ensures overall customer satisfaction& loyalty.
•Responsible for employee engagementand development.
•Ensures implementation of andadherence to strategies, policies, processes, and methods for Serviceoperations activities (technically and/or commercially), for assignedorganisational unit.
•Drive continuous improvement ofService business driving efficiency, digitalisation, and introduction of newService offerings.
•As a member of the BranchManagement team support the Branch Manager in developing and executing theBranch strategy and actively collaborate with the rest of the Management team.
•Works closely with theService Sales team to strengthen customer relationships.
•Ensure that the Servicebusiness on an overall portfolio basis delivers in line with the financialtargets.
•Ensure that a resource planis in place considering both backlog and sales funnel and take appropriateactions e.g. training plans, recruitment, downsizing etc.
•Undertake regular Servicereviews to drive performance and adherence to policy.

·Experience leading and developing people with ability to inspire and motivate colleagues
·Experience managing transformation projects / continuousimprovement initiatives
1. Excellent knowledge of the market sector and experience with our products and solutions to implement services and solutions (Fire, Security and BMS).
