Payroll Administrator
The role is full time, and we need someone with 3+ years payroll experience preferably within practice/bureau environment.
For the right candidate we could look to offer study support towards a CIPP (or equivalent) qualification
Salary c£28K
You will be expected to process the payrolls of a portfolio of clients from start to finish. This will include:
1. Registering PAYE schemes with HMRC.
2. Set up and maintenance of client records and control sheets
3. Set up and maintenance of client payroll records within payroll software
4. Review, input and processing of client payroll data, including starters, leavers and calculating adjustments to pay
5. Input and processing of 3rd party forms, including Attachment of Earnings Orders
6. Statutory payment calculation and process management
7. Accurate client report checking and issue
8. P45 management and issue
9. Provision and/or upload of client bank payment files
10. Inform clients of their PAYE liability each month/quarter, processing the payment of client PAYE liability to HMRC where agreed
11. Provision of payroll journals to clients
12. End to end auto enrolment management for clients
13. Provision of query solution and management
14. Ensuring clients are kept up to date on payroll legislation
