Overview
Community Nursing Team Leader - District Nursing role at NHS Scotland (NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde). We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to provide daily professional and managerial support to the community nursing team.
The post holder will deliver the highest standards of patient-centred care, develop and manage staff under supervision, and act as an autonomous practitioner guiding and empowering the team. You will assist the Senior Nurse Manager in delivering professional leadership to all nursing team members, ensuring services comply with statutory obligations, professional standards, and organisational policies.
Shifts: The post may involve occasional and overnight shifts, with the majority of shifts during core hours, Monday to Friday. A driving licence is preferred due to geographical requirements. Shift pattern: Mon-Sun 08:30-16:30 with occasional back shifts and overnight shifts.

* Contribute to professional leadership of all nursing team members and assist the Senior Nurse Manager in oversight and leadership.
* Ensure services adhere to statutory obligations, professional standards, and organisational policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
* Current 1st Level NMC Registration
* Post-registration degree
* Management diploma or equivalent level of experience
* Strong background in change management and leading practice development initiatives
* Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills; resilience and self-motivation; ability to work independently
* Driving licence preferred
