Customer Service Advisor – Darlington
Location: Darlington
Job Type: Full-Time 42.5 hours per week

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organised Customer Service Advisor to join our busy automotive repair centre in Darlington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, administration, reception, or customer support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle collection.
Key Responsibilities
14. Welcome customers professionally both in person and over the phone
15. Manage repair bookings and customer appointments
16. Provide customers with updates on vehicle repairs and progress
17. Coordinate vehicle handovers and collections
18. Liaise with technicians, insurers, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication
19. Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
20. Maintain accurate customer records and administration systems
21. Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the repair journey
About You
22. Previous experience in a Customer Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, Receptionist, Administrator, or similar customer-facing role
23. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
24. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
25. Comfortable working in a busy office environment
26. Good IT and administrative skills
27. A positive attitude and passion for delivering excellent customer service
28. Automotive industry experience is beneficial but not essential
