Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) + On-Call Duties
An established and values-driven care provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to open and lead a brand-new 2-bedded childrens home in Enfield. This is a unique opportunity to create a calm, therapeutic, and relationship-based environment for young people aged 717.
Role Highlights:
Lead the opening of a new therapeutic home
Work with young people recovering from trauma, neglect, or loss

Key Responsibilities:
Register the home with Ofsted and lead inspections
Ensure full compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015
Oversee all operational aspects including planning, safeguarding, and emotional support
Recruit, manage, and develop a skilled and caring staff team
Foster a calm, structured, and supportive home environment
Build strong working relationships with external professionals
Promote a culture of safety, reflection, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in residential childcare, including 1 year in a leadership role
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Strong emotional resilience and a child-centred mindset
Confident team leader with strong communication skills
Solid understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
