Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of end‑to‑end SAP solutions within a complex enterprise landscape. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, shaping SAP architectures that align with business strategy while ensuring robust, scalable delivery. You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, enterprise architects, delivery teams, and SAP specialists, providing architectural leadership across SAP programmes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* SAP Solution Architecture – Define, design, and govern SAP solution architectures across a broad SAP landscape, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards.
* End‑to‑End Design Ownership – Produce and maintain architectural flows, solution designs, and option assessments covering both functional and non‑functional requirements.
* Stakeholder Engagement – Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders, clearly presenting architectural options, recommendations, and trade‑offs to varied audiences.
* Delivery Enablement – Work independently to drive architectural decisions through to handover, supporting delivery teams with clear guidance and design intent.
* Architecture Governance – Review solution designs and builds to ensure alignment with the overall SAP and integration architecture.
* Technical Leadership – Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and integration patterns, supporting consistent and high‑quality solution delivery.
* Technology Evaluation – Assess and recommend SAP technologies and tools that enhance capability and future‑readiness.
* Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Build strong working relationships across IT, architecture, and business teams to ensure joined‑up solutions.
Key Skills
* Extensive experience as an SAP Solution Architect on large‑scale SAP programmes.
* Broad functional SAP knowledge across modules such as FI, MM, SD, Logistics, BW, and related SAP solutions.
* Proven ability to operate autonomously and lead solution design with minimal oversight.
* Strong experience engaging and influencing senior business stakeholders.
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.
* Solid track record of delivering SAP solutions from design through to delivery handover.
