Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in Huthwaite, who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to join their team.
This is a varied, generalist role offering the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of HR, supporting both management and employees across the business.
The Role
Working closely with senior management, you will provide day-to-day HR support across a wide range of activities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of operational HR and employee relations.
HR Advisor - Key Responsibilities
1. Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
2. Manage employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinaries, and absence management
3. Support recruitment activity including advertising roles, screening, and onboarding
4. Assist with payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided
5. Maintain HR systems and employee records
6. Support performance management and development processes
7. Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant
8. Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
HR Advisor - About You
9. Previous experience in a similar HR Advisor or generalist HR role
10. Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment law
11. Confident managing cases such as grievances and disciplinaries
12. Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding
13. Exposure to payroll processes
14. Good organisational and communication skills
15. CIPD qualification or working towards (desirable)
