The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our clients. You will focus on supporting the senior National Account Manager to grow and develop existing accounts as well as generating new business by identifying, implementing and executing new strategies across Major Domestic Appliances.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver strategies to achieve sales, profit, and growth targets across responsible accounts.
* Manage relationships with existing and new accounts, identifying opportunities and ensuring strong partnerships.
* Support sales channels through promotions, marketing initiatives, training, and pricing proposals.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, monitor stock levels, and share insights with product and logistics teams to ensure efficient supply.
* Analyse pricing, product trends, and market developments to inform strategy and maximise ROI within budget.
* Oversee service and returns processes, reporting quality issues and ensuring compliance with policy.
* Work with Finance and Senior Management to resolve payment/credit issues, manage SOAs, and complete customer audits.
* Present performance updates, growth ideas, and market insights at sales meetings.
* Stay informed on industry developments and attend brand and industry-focused trade shows as required.
Requirements
* 2+ years relevant working experience, buying background will be considered.
* Previous experience within the industry preferred.
* Proven track record of achieving KPIs, sales targets, and managing accounts and budgets.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
* Excellent numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and exceed sales and profitability targets.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work from our Leeds office minimum 1–2 days per week.
