This role is to undertake home office construction input to our client's LBA CCS Transport & Storage Project is part of the HyNet Northwest Project which aims to transform a region of the UK into the world's first low carbon industrial cluster by 2030. The Liverpool Bay Decommissioning Project is a crucial Project who's successful execution is required to support the Liverpool Bay CCS Project.
Description of Project/Role and Main Responsibilities
* Constructability review and preparation of Constructability report.
* Technical Bid Evaluation.
* Offshore installation studies, methodologies and preparation of Installation Report.
* Evaluation of Offshore execution, schedule and fabrication man hours.
* Preliminary construction cost to support cost estimation activities.
* Preparation of Construction Execution Plan and Evaluation of Construction Manhours.
* Preparation of Construction procedures and construction project specifications.
Candidate's qualifications, professional experience and skills required for the role
* Offshore decommissioning constructability inputs and safety reviews such as HAZIDs/HAZOPs.
* Review of deliverables including Scopes of Work, Construction Work packs for decommissioning activities and Technical Bid Evaluations.
* Interfacing with Vendor and Contractor teams while performing Tender Bid Evaluation for Work Packages.
* Review of construction manhours based on engineering deliverables and project schedules.
* Offshore site visits as client representative to monitor progress and inspect works.
* Offshore Execution, Installation, Fabrication and Delivery, Offshore Hook-up and Decommissioning, Onshore Fabrication Strategies, Multi-disciplinary Interface with Marine operations, Weight Control.
* Documentation management, Site Management, Contract Management.
* Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Health of Site Management.
* Project Management: Project Feasibility, Close-Out Report Preparation, Project Management methodologies and techniques, Risk Management.
* Relevant Engineering Degree/Certification (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
