About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Technician
to join our IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) team. This role involves the secure handling, testing, data sanitisation, and processing of IT equipment, as well as occasional driving duties for collections and deliveries. Data security, accuracy, and professionalism are at the core of this position.
Key Responsibilities
* Test, diagnose, and grade IT equipment including laptops, desktops, servers, and peripherals
* Perform secure data erasure in line with ITAD and data protection standards
* Accurately log asset information and maintain audit-ready records
* Assist with IT equipment collections and deliveries when required
* Ensure chain-of-custody procedures are followed at all times
* Prepare equipment for reuse, resale, recycling, or disposal
* Comply with data protection, environmental, and health & safety regulations
* Maintain a clean and organised working environment
* Day to day warehouse duties – training to be provided.
Requirements
* Must be over 25 years of age
* Full, clean driving licence

* Good working knowledge of IT hardware
* Strong attention to detail, particularly around data security
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Physically able to handle IT equipment safely
Desirable Experience & Skills
* Previous experience in an ITAD, IT support, or hardware refurbishment environment
* Experience using data erasure software (e.g. Blancco)
* Knowledge of GDPR, WEEE, and ITAD best practices
* Warehouse or logistics experience
