Join to apply for the User Experience Designer role at TalkTalk.
You’ll be responsible for designing consistent, effortless, digital experiences. We’re looking for someone who demonstrates creative and analytical thinking and delivers effective UX/UI solutions. You’ll have an eye for visual interaction design, coupled with excellent communication skills to champion UX thinking with product owners and developers. You’ll also have the ability to lead UX projects and maintain a focus on collaborative problem solving.
We’ll look to you to implement UX/UI best practice and apply a wide range of techniques such as information architecture mapping, user journey mapping, workshop facilitation, ideation, and prototyping.
How you will add value in this role
* Delivers impactful solutions that solve customer problems and move business metrics.
* Ensures the UX process is followed, and decisions are based on research and data.
* Able to measure the success of design work.
* Supports the delivery of product roadmaps, working with Product Owners and the Development team.
* Ensures a smooth handover to development and that what is developed matches the design.
* Shares best practice and new innovations that you come across in the wider industry.
* Contributes to growing a customer-centric culture by helping the business understand what UX/UI is and how we add value.
* Contributes to the design system by creating and documenting components to be used throughout the digital experience.
What you need to deliver in the role
* You have a strong understanding of Design Thinking, Accessibility and Design Systems and why they’re important to communicate to stakeholders and gain buy-in.
* You’re highly proficient in using Figma and have experience contributing to design systems.
* You can identify and compare the best processes to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
* You’re a champion for the customer’s voice and you support and challenge teams to ensure design decisions are backed by data and insights.
* You can facilitate workshops and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to solve problems.
* You have experience of agile working and can operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* You can absorb large amounts of conflicting information and use it to make simple design decisions.
* You participate in user research and testing activities to draw the insights needed for informed, user-centered design decisions.
* You work closely with stakeholders to ensure what is designed is commercially viable and technically feasible.
