Senior Associate – Litigation / Dispute Resolution
Location: Bristol (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in the office)
Working Pattern: Full-time preferred | Part-time considered (minimum 4 days)
A growing legal services organisation is seeking a Senior Associate to join its busy Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of work, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced disputes lawyer to join a collaborative and high-performing environment.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of contract litigation matters from instruction through to resolution, taking a commercial and strategic approach to dispute management. Cases may progress through formal litigation or be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or other ADR methods where appropriate.
The role involves assessing the merits of claims at an early stage, progressing matters efficiently, and ensuring cases are handled in line with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of contract litigation matters from start to finish
* Conducting early case assessments and advising on prospects of success
* Progressing matters through litigation, negotiation, or ADR processes
* Delivering strong client outcomes while meeting performance targets and service standards
* Taking ownership of client matters through to resolution
* Supporting efficient case handling and sharing knowledge within the wider team
* Maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory obligations
About You

Key requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Practitioner
* Experience managing litigation or dispute resolution matters
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Proactive and organised approach to caseload management
* Good understanding of professional conduct and regulatory requirements
* Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
* A collaborative mindset with excellent client care abilities
