Your new role
The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of electrical systems across a range of design and build projects. Working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, they will contribute to developingpliant, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the design and implementation of electrical systems for building services projects.
2. Produce technical reports, calculations, schematics, and specifications.
3. Collaborate with mechanical, BIM, and external teams to deliver coordinated MEP designs.
4. Support project delivery from concept through construction, including site visits.
5. Contribute to estimating, tender reviews, and value engineering proposals.
6. Promote sustainable design andpliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Participate in client meetings and technical workshops.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Experience working in an electrical design role in the building services industry.
9. Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred; however, applicants with an HNC, HND, or equivalent experience will also be considered.
10. Basic understanding of electrical systems and relevant sector standards.
11. Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD or Dialux will be advantageous.
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general ICT tools.
13. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
