Salary: £13.50 per hour
Location: WD3, Rickmansworth
Job Type: Full Time, minimum 36hrs per week.
Shifts on offer: Monday to Sunday, 12hr Shifts, Days & Nights.
About the role
Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to work within the Complex Care sector?
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Care Assistant who can support our Service User. She is in her mid 60s. Previously, she has had a previous history of alcohol abuse which has caused her to develop Korsakoff encephalopathy (similarities to Dementia). She does have mental capacity; however, she does lack the capacity to make complex decisions. Due to this and other factors, she can display challenging behaviors when frustrated.
She also is Diabetic and uses a wheelchair, which supervision for both elements are required. This role is also doubled up as a companionship role, building up key relationships and engaging within activities in the community.

Requirements
* A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
* To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
