 
        
        Responsibilities
 * Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
 * Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the hospital
 * Overseeing the day-to-day care of patients and the administration of required medication
 * Providing nursing and personal care and promoting their abilities
 * Planning, implementing, and supervising the provision of quality care
 * Maintaining the required medical documentation
 * Upholding residents' rights to privacy, dignity and choice
 * Leading shifts and mentoring and supporting student nurses and other team members at a senior level
 * Familiarizing yourself with, and strictly adhering to, company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines

Requirements
 * Must be a MENTAL REGISTERED NURSE with a current PIN number with NMC and experience in the UK
 * One year's experience is desirable
 * A genuine desire to work with the elderly
 * The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, along with excellent listening skills
 * The ability to supervise other staff members comfortably and competently
 * Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
 * Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 * Night shifts available
Hours & Pay
 * Full Time 36-48 hours per week
 * Paid breaks
 * Long shifts 8am-8pm
 * Pay rate £21-£22 per hour
 * Night shifts available
About the Care Centre
36 hours per week Care Home with Nursing in Leeds area, the 85‑room facility this Care Centre offers a range of specialist care for residents, ranging from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s care to care for stroke victims. The manager oversees all aspects of the care centre, leading a team of 10 nurses and 60 care assistants, many of whom are trained to NVQ level 2‑3. The team operates five units, each tailored to the dependency levels of the residents to ensure the right level of care is received.
