What you’ll be doing
* Work across multiple wards within Tamworth Hospital and rotate across departments or develop a specialty aligned with your passion.
* Be part of a professional, friendly and supportive team that guides and empowers you throughout your nursing journey.
* Receive supernumerary shifts to support learning, with ongoing support from Enrolled Nurses (ENs), Registered Nurses (RNs) and the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM).

Where you’ll be working
Tamworth Hospital is the principal referral hospital for the northern sector of Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD), serving a population of over 180,000. It provides emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation and outpatient services. The hospital is in a vibrant regional centre and is a teaching facility affiliated with the University of Newcastle, offering opportunities to work with clinicians involved in research, education and innovation.

Requirements
Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (completion of identified foundational units in practice AND 120 hours of clinical placement).

* To be eligible for permanent employment you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Temporary visa holders may be considered only if no suitable local candidate is identified, and only within visa conditions and expiry dates.
