We’re looking forDT Teachersto work at a secondary school inthe Westbury Area. This school is fully comprehensive and has a good reputation, with strong commitment to the students’ wellbeing and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and practical DT lessonstailored to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
* Encourage asafe, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
* Buildstrong, positive relationships with students,acting as a mentor and guide to support their personal and academic growth.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using strategies to engage and motivate students with challenging behaviour.
* Collaborate with colleaguesto monitor progress and implement methods that help students achieve their potential.
What are we looking for?
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism or strong background in Design and Technology.
* Experience in teachingat secondary level.
* Strong behavioural management skills.
* Ability to beflexible and adaptto a range of lessons in different school settings.
* A validEnhanced child only DBS(or willingness to obtain one).
* Ability to buildstrong working relationshipswith staff and students
* The want toinspire studentsto reach their full potential with a positive attitude and patience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
