We are currently recruiting for one of our Royston-based clients who are recruiting for a Group Reporting Manager to join their growing team on a full-time basis, with a hybrid working pattern. To be successful, you will need to have experience in a similar role.
Typical duties include:
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting both internal and external reporting processes
• Ensuring deadlines are met when producing financial statements and analysis
• Reviewing financial controls and suggesting improvements where necessary
• Assisting with audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
• Ensuring statutory accounts and tax filings are completed accurately and on time
• Managing, mentoring, and developing a small finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of team objectives
• Delegating and reviewing work within the team to maintain high-quality reporting standards
• Supporting wider finance projects and carrying out other ad-hoc tasks when required
You will have:
• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to apply it in a commercial environment
• Previous experience managing or supervising junior finance staff
• The ability to be flexible and support the needs of the wider team when necessary
• A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
