We are now looking for Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our Commercial function and support the successful delivery cost management and quality across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of quantity surveying from project inception through to completion on high-rise and large-scale developments.
* Produce monthly interim valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
* Prepare and maintain accurate project budgets, forecasts, and commercial reports.
* Ensure strong collaboration between commercial teams and site delivery teams to achieve project objectives.
* Procure and manage subcontract packages, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
* Monitor project progress, assess cost performance, and proactively manage risk and opportunity.
* Manage variations, change control, claims, and final accounts in line with contractual requirements.
* Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
* Mentor and support junior commercial team members, providing technical guidance and development.
* Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company commercial procedures.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment, ideally on high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, procurement, and commercial reporting.
* Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple work packages and deadlines in a fast-paced site environment.
* Proficient in relevant commercial and reporting systems.
