Are you a creative and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher passionate about inspiring students in practical and theoretical DT skills?
GSL Education are seeking an experienced Design Technology Teacher to join a supportive school in Rotherham, S61. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, fostering students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and understanding of design, materials, and engineering concepts.
Responsibilities as a Design Technology Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full academic and practical potential.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
* Support students’ development of design, technical, and practical skills.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the DT curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Requirements for Design Technology Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Experience teaching Design Technology across Key Stages is desirable.
* Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage students of varying abilities.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
