VAN DRIVER (Temp → Perm - Immediate Start)
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Specialist Manufacturer of Insulated Cavity Closers & Window Formers
We are seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our client on a 12‑week temp to perm contract, with an immediate start.
Information about the Van Driver role:
* Monday to Friday (no weekends)
* Start times between 07:30‑08:00 each morning
* Up to 4 drops per day
* Travel anywhere in the UK may be required
Whats involved:
* Drive a pre‑loaded van and assist with unloading upon arrival
* Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after use
* Ensure goods are handled and delivered safely
* Complete all required delivery paperwork accurately
* Adhere to assigned schedule and follow all job directives precisely
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
Requirements of the Van Driver:
* Valid UK driving licence
* Previous van driving experience
* Ability to handball (loading/unloading goods)
* Good road knowledge and ability to plan efficient routes
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times
* Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow directions and schedules strictly
