Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person Technician (SAP Trained) for High Voltage systems to support safety-critical HV activities in an automotive environment.
Details:
* Pay rate: £26 per hour
* Shifts: Rotating (Morning/afternoons)
* Work type: High Voltage Battery assembly
* Contract: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities
* Act as SAP for HV systems in line with site and OEM safety rules
* Control HV isolation, re-energisation, and permit-to-work processes
* Ensure safe systems of work and compliance with HV regulations
* Provide technical oversight to APs, technicians, and contractors
Essential Requirements
* Current SAP (High Voltage) authorisation
* Proof of SAP qualification and competency (mandatory)
* Proven experience operating as an SAP in a live HV environment
* Willingness to complete interview and competency assessment
Desirable
* SAP (Senior Authorised Person)
* Automotive OEM or EV/HV experience
