Psychology Graduate - Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Education and Training - East Grinstead

It is the perfect position for someone in search of hands-on experience working with social, emotional mental health needs.
Location: East Grinstead
Contract Type: Long Term Contract, 5 days a week, 8:30 - 15:30
Responsibilities
* Assisting students academically and pastorally
* Willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with students
* Able to encourage the development of social skills and support students\' individual needs
* Attend staff meetings and complete CPD
* Follow safeguarding procedures
* Ensure accurate individual student records are maintained
* Participate in team meetings and training programmes as an active member of a team
Skills & Requirements
* An Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience, ideal for Psychology Graduates/Aspiring Educational Psychologist
* Education in English and Maths, Grade 5 / C and above (desired)
* Knowledge, keen interest or understanding of the range of different types of learning and behavioural needs (SEMH, PRU, Cognitive Behaviours)
* Safeguarding checks: must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service
