We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception through to completion. The role involves planning and delivery, organising logistics, coordinating teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee operational duties from project inception to completion, promoting a positive health and safety culture
2. Plan, schedule, and coordinate project strategy and design
3. Manage the construction process and supervise all on-site activities
4. Ensure site safety through risk management and risk assessments, enforcing safety procedures
5. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular progress updates
6. Manage, mentor, and develop reporting staff
7. Demonstrate awareness of social value and responsible construction practices
Experience & Skills
8. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and legal guidelines
9. Excellent organisational and programming skills
10. High level of initiative with logical and analytical thinking
11. Strong problem-solving ability
12. Excellent time management and leadership skills
13. Clear written and verbal communication skills
14. Financial and commercial awareness
15. Ability to negotiate and influence effectively
